How to register on SAFEsnap
- Download the SAFEsnap App from either the Google Play Store or Apple App Store
* Android – Google Play Store Link
* iOS – Apple App Store Link - Once the App has downloaded and installed on your phone, click on the SAFEsnap Icon.
- You will then be presented with the screen below.
- Click on the tab at the bottom which says “Sign Up”
- Fill out the relevant detail that are required
- Take note of the number format. (Omit the “0” in your mobile number)
- The password requirements are as follows
– Minimum of 8 characters long
– Uppercase
– Numeric
– Special Character
– Lowercase - Click “Submit”
- Click on the “black camera icon”
- Chose a photo or take a selfie with your phone camera
- Fill out the rest of the required details
- Click “Submit”
- You will now receive a text message from SAFEsnap with an OTP
- Enter the OTP into the box
- Tick the “Would you like to receive public service announcement notifications”
- Tick on “Accept / View EULA” & “Accept / View T&C’s”
- Review EULA, then click “Agree & Continue”
- Review Terms and Conditions, then click “Agree & Continue”
- Make sure that all three boxes are ticked and the OTP is entered
- Click “Submit”
- Select which SAFEsnap Solution you would like to subscribe to.
- Follow the Payment prompts and process
- Once you have done that you will be presented with your “Dashboard”
- Go into your email account that you used to register and there will be two emails from SAFEsnap. Check Spam / Junk if they not in your inbox.
– “Welcome to SAFEsnap”
– SAFEsnap – “Confirm Your Email Address” - Open the email “Confirm Your Email Address” then click on the blue link to confirm your email address, this will open a web browser link and your email will be confirmed.
- Go back into the SAFEsnap App and then click on “Verify”
- This will then close the prompt below
- You will then have your “Assistance Dashboard in view”
Depending on what “SAFEsnap subscription” you chose and how many people you subscribed for, will depend on if you need to fill in additional information for yourself or load additional “profiles” for “Dependants”
